Conference on Indonesian Foreign Policy (CIFP) is the country’s biggest festival of diplomacy and also happens to be the world’s largest foreign policy conference that successfully gathered more than 9,000 enthusiastic participants.

Our aim is to bring all the stakeholders together in an intellectually rich, open, and inspirational from all over Indonesia and abroad.

CIFP achieved the World of Records Museum (MURI) as the “largest foreign policy conference” with over 6,000 participants from Indonesia and also abroad.

For the first time, CIFP held “Battle of The Brains” – a game show with Ambassadors, CEOs, Students, and Celebrities battling to answer fun questions surrounding general knowledge, current events, world history, and pop culture.

P.S. Team Ambassadors won!

CIFP was first held on 13th June 2015 with the theme “Positive Nationalism, Smart Internationalism” and was attended by over 2,000 participants.

The conference was inaugurated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, H. E. Retno Marsudi, with her speech “Indonesian Foreign Policy, International Engagement and Worldview Concept in The Jokowi Era: An Update from Foreign Minister”.

In commemoration of 50 years of ASEAN, the conference was themed “Win-Winning ASEAN, Conquering Globalization,” focusing on the development of the multilateral organization and zooming in on the challenges of globalization – which had seemed to take a surprising turn.
